Privacy and cookies
In short
I count visits anonymously and without cookies. Only if you accept, I also measure how the site is used with Google Analytics. I only store your data if you send it through a form. You can change your mind at any time.
Updated October 2026.
Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data processed on this site is Raul del Mar, with address at [COMPLETAR: dirección del responsable]. Contact: raul@miongfeliz.com.
This policy covers this site only. The products you open from here live on other subdomains and are separate sites.
What data I collect and why
Insider List. If you leave your email in the Insider List form, I store it in a Google spreadsheet (Google Sheets, through a Google Apps Script) and you get a confirmation email. I use it only to send you Raul Tech Mar news, one email a week at most. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Tool suggestions. If you send the “Suggest a tool” form, I store your name, your email, your field and the text where you describe the problem, together with the date of the submission and a submission code. They are stored in a Google spreadsheet (Google Sheets, through Google Apps Script). I use them to evaluate your idea and, if you tick “Email me if you publish it”, to let you know when it is online. Please don’t write sensitive data (health, passwords, ID documents) in the free text.
Abuse protection. The forms limit how many submissions are accepted per minute from the same IP address. That IP is used only for that count and is not stored with your data.
Basic measurement, for all visits. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views, approximate country, device type and browser, without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
To be able to ask your permission, every page loads Google Tag Manager from Google servers (also outside Peru). That download sends Google your IP address and basic browser data even if you don’t accept. If you browse without JavaScript, the same happens with a minimal Google Tag Manager frame.
Extended measurement, only if you accept. With Google Analytics (it uses cookies) I see how the sections and buttons of the site are used, for example which products get opened, and I recognise a returning browser (not your name). Google Analytics is not activated and stores no cookies until you choose “Yes, I’ll help” in the notice; if you choose “Essentials only” or don’t choose, it stays off. Google keeps that data for 14 months.
Like any website, the service that hosts it (Cloudflare) may log technical connection data, such as the IP address, so the site works and stays protected. I don’t use it to identify you.
If you don’t give me your data
Giving me your data is optional. You can read the whole site and open the products without writing to me. If you don’t fill in the fields of a form, I can’t register your email or read your idea, but the rest of the site works the same.
How long I keep it
- Insider List email: for as long as you stay on the list. I delete it when you ask to be removed or ask for your data to be erased.
- Tool suggestions: while I evaluate your idea and until you ask me to delete your data.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Recipients and international transfers
Your data only reaches these providers, which process it outside Peru (United States):
- Google LLC: where the Insider List emails and the suggestions are stored (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script), plus Google Tag Manager and, only with your consent, Google Analytics.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting and security of the site, and basic measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Form submissions pass through its servers before reaching Google. It may also process technical connection data.
Cookies and storage
With your consent, Google Analytics may store these cookies:
| Cookie | What it does | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one browser from another (with a pseudonymous identifier, not your name) to count visitors. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_ and a code | Keeps the state of the visit session. | Up to 2 years |
The site also stores your measurement choice in your browser and in its own cookie (consentimiento) on the rauldelmar.com domain, so it also applies on the other rauldelmar.com sites that show this notice and you don’t have to repeat it. It only contains your choice, its date and the notice version (it doesn’t identify you), your browser sends it to those sites when you visit them, and it lasts 365 days. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is stored only in your browser (tema, never sent to any server).
How to withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer, or with this button:
If you choose “Essentials only”, I delete any Google Analytics cookies on this site and stop measuring your use. The change also applies on the other rauldelmar.com sites that show this notice. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
Your rights
I follow Law No. 29733, the Personal Data Protection Law of Peru (Ley N.º 29733), and its Regulation, approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS. You have the right to access your personal data, update it, correct it, ask for it to be deleted and object to its processing.
How to exercise them: write to raul@miongfeliz.com saying which right you are exercising, your name and a way to contact you, with a copy of your ID (or the details that allow you to be identified). I will answer within [COMPLETAR: e.g. 10 business days]. If you believe your rights were not addressed, you can go to the National Authority for Personal Data Protection (Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales), part of Peru’s Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
